• Cerealto Siro has opened the doors of its factories to more than 300 children in Castilla y León and has taught Healthy Food and Food Waste Prevention workshops, adapted for the little ones.
Palencia, September 19.- Cerealto Siro has celebrated the II Open House Days for Children and Family of Collaborators, aged between 4 and 14 years, during which they have given Healthy Food and Food Waste Prevention workshops to more than 300 children in Venta de Baños (Palencia), Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia), Toro (Zamora) and El Espinar (Segovia), in addition to Madrid and Jaén.
In the conference, which ends today with the last celebration at the R&D center in El Espinar, children had the opportunity to participate in workshops given by experts in nutrition and adapted to children, in which they have been trained playful way about the appropriate intake of each group of food and healthy lifestyle habits, and about actions to reduce food waste from our homes with the support of AECOC, promoter of the Week Against Food Waste.
