Cerealto Siro Foods enters the Merco ranking of the top 100 most reputable companies in Spain at number 90
Juan Manuel González Serna, the Chairman of Cerealto Siro Foods, is 59th in the Merco Leaders ranking of the most reputable leaders in Spain
Madrid, 23 May 2019. According to the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Spanish acronym: MERCO), the newly formed Cerealto Siro Foods – a global company in the agri-food sector resulting from a recent merger between Grupo Siro and Cerealto – entered the general ranking of the top 100 companies with the best reputation in Spain at number 90, the eighth-ranked from the agri-food sector.
The Group Chairman, Juan Manuel González Serna, was again recognised among the top executives with the best reputation in Spain, standing 59th in the Merco Leaders ranking.
The position achieved by Cerealto Siro Foods reflects the market’s backing for the recent merger and the confidence from stakeholders in the company’s new strategy, which is focused on innovation, international growth and specialisation in its core business categories, among other aspects.
MERCO is the benchmark business monitor in Spain and Latin America, evaluating corporate reputations since 2000. Now in its tenth edition, a total of six assessments, 25 source of information and interviews with over 47,000 people, including executives, financial analysts, public authority figures, consumer associations, trade unions, NGOs, the academic sector and journalists, were taken into account; to evaluate the economic results from the companies, the quality of their commercial offer, action in terms of ethics and social responsibility, their capacity to innovate and their global scope were also considered.
